I am a south London born-and-raised dance artist - trained at London Contemporary Dance School and in kathak (and continue to), under Sujata Banerjee MBE.

My performance experienced has ranged from the London 2012 Games opening ceremony, the Southbank Centre, festivals in UK, Turkey, Spain, Greece, and my audiences have been studio spaces for early years to small theatres, corporate auditoriums, an outside stage on the Kent coast to HMP Bullingdon.

With any new piece made I research extensively, be it the the origins of a song, the story of its singer, its melody, its musical movement, its structure and how to duet this with my dance - questioning what am I conveying, how do I justify another’s artistic expression.

And in this process: what does connection mean in a soulful way, how far can I go, where I am in the moment, how present can I be, what will be lost, and found - what is happening in our world that I want to addresses, whether its forgotten voices to the beating of humanity.

Aside from dance and choreography my career background in user experience (UX) research and design; I am currently doing a MSc in Cognition and Computation at Birkbeck, University of London.

I am also a member of the Half Moon theatre trustee board and a EDI committee member for Dancers’ Career Development.
